Please note that RCP requires an adoption application be completed, which we will send to you via e-mail. A home visit will be scheduled, a meet and greet with the dog(s) or puppy(s) you are interested in, to include other pets and/or children to determine if they will all co-exist. There is a $150 adoption fee per dog. Once you have been approved to adopt, there is a final adoption form to complete.

Sunshine is a sweet and quirky girl. Lots of love packed in a pint size body. Sunshine can be on the anxious side and will need a home with routine and boundaries set from day 1. Sunshine does have resources guarding issues with animals and humans. This can vary from toys, treats, food, and every day items. These behaviors have been a non-issue in her foster home with crate training and boundaries in place. Sunshine LOVES car rides and playing with toys! She will need a no cat home. Does well with other dogs, but seems to be more at ease with dogs her size or smaller. Dog experienced home needed with children 13+.

Emily is an incredibly sweet girl with excellent house manners. Mellow personality makes her an easy keeper. Emily loves toys of all kinds, especially the squeaky variety. She enjoys hanging with her humans, and loves people of all ages. Emily will need a not cat/ no small dog home. She does well with dogs her size with proper, slow introduction. Crate and house trained.

10months old approximately
Neutered
Gets along with Cats, Dogs and only chases Chickens
He is super obedient. Will stop whatever craziness he is doing and come as fast as his little legs can carry him when you call him. And stops doing whatever naughtiness he may be doing with a simple call of his name with a “No” attached to it.
Potty trained and crate trained like a Pro. Eats his meals in his Crate, Sleeps all night in a Crate without a single peep. 10pm until 7 or 8am.
He will go Potty on Command and can be trained to go to the same spot to potty every time, which is super handy for clean up.(He does prefer a private place to do his serious business though, fyi)
Entertains himself with appropriate toy choices and loves to play Wrestlemania with his Foster siblings.
Working on personal boundaries and usually will leave dogs alone if they give him some growl warnings that they are done with his puppy play.
He is also an A+ snuggler. will not harass you for meal times. He loves his food and is just happy to get it when he can get it.
He is not a fan of the Car Ride, as he gets nauseous, but we think with practice he can fix that. He’s only been in a car about 6 times. And none of those were to anyplace fun.
He will allow you to take anything out of his mouth with ease, but is pretty possessive of his snacks and meals, towards other dogs, so it is best to give him those things away from other dogs.
He will try to be the boss of everyone, because he has a little bit of a Small Dog Attitude ….so right away you need to be sure he knows you’re the boss, not him, then all will be well.
He loves laying in the Sunshine and also loves to play in the snow as long as he has his sweater on.
In general, he’s a pretty good dude. Really wants to please!

Fun loving Toter lives up to his name. He’s the sweetest little pup you’ll ever meet. Toters favorite activities are cuddling, playing fetch, and toting off little things he finds interest in whether it be a toy, ball or stick. The way he bounces around with excitement will no doubt warm your heart. Even though he doesn’t know many tricks yet, he is very smart and a fast learner.
